Les v\u00e9ritables origines de ce b\u00e2timent restent encore aujourd&rsquo;hui une \u00e9nigme, mais nous savons qu&rsquo;il est bien plus ancien que ce que l&rsquo;histoire officielle voudrait nous faire croire. En 2019, lors des travaux de r\u00e9novation, nous avons mis au jour des murs cach\u00e9s et des tunnels creus\u00e9s, traces d&rsquo;une vie presque effac\u00e9e par le temps. Sous leur direction, Badia di Pomaio est devenu non seulement un centre agricole et religieux, mais aussi un point de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour les citoyens d&rsquo;Arezzo. <\/p><p class=\"p1\">Malheureusement, rien n&rsquo;est \u00e9ternel et le monast\u00e8re fut abandonn\u00e9 un temps ind\u00e9termin\u00e9 plus tard. Lentement mais s\u00fbrement, la nature reprit ses droits, recouvrant les traces de passage humain et cachant les pierres de l&rsquo;\u00e9difice sous une \u00e9paisse couche de lierre.
